The Vertical Trailer Park is a flexible system for converting existing parking garages into multi-family housing developments in urban settings. The infrastructure for the Vertical Trailer Park is developed to maximize the ability of each unit to maintain self-sufficiency but to tie together throughout the full extent of the parking garage for redundancy. Each trailer would be owned by the "renter", wherein the renting is purely based on location and infrastructure. The "architecture" of the proposal is all developed around an infrastructural unit housing the lawn, a small pool (cantilevered outside of the parking garage to also collect solar heat), photovoltaics, accessibility components (ramp/stairs) and address/mailbox.
