An existing Condo in the Upper East side of Manhattan required new lighting, blinds, and a Media console. The approach was to utilize the 1 1/2" depth of the ceiling finish to create a series of integrated LED lighting slots. The profile of the LED lighting slots allowed for each one to be fabricated to the same standards as other tapable flanges. This would allow the layout and integration to remain similar to standard drywall installations. A recessed tapable flange system for the blinds was utilized at the large windows forming one side of the apartment. The media cabinet integrated lighting and special hardware to allow large panels to open for display of the flat screen TV.
