Developed as a collaborative project with a team from Architecture for Humanity San Francisco. The client, a small elementary school in Pescadero, CA, had Modular Classrooms that were unable to combine for larger group discussions and did not meet accessibilty requirements. The proposal, a stack of two modified shipping contianers, allowed two modular classrooms to connect for classroom flexibility and provided necessary restrooms and other water connections for classroom lab use via the lower container and a fog catcher for water gathering and a structural truss via the upper container.
